Mummy Hello Kitty

Monday: I wanted to go shopping after work, but chose not to. Got a couple things in the mail.
A Gimmie Gimmie of sticker flakes, happy mail and something Halloween.
It's OK, I like the stickers. I'm not sure why I asked for something Halloween, I don't even do anything for Halloween.
Large Coffee tag:
 This is cute.
Tuesday: I got some more things cleaned up. Put together a Trick or Treat swap:
Basically we fill a Priority mail envelope full of stuff and mail it off to our partner.
I also made an ATC:
 No mail.
Wednesday: I quickly put together a Kawaii tag:
Totally forgot about it Tuesday night. No mail on Wednesday.
Thursday: Put together a sticky notes tag:
Got a surprise tag in the mail:
Thought because it was a different group for the surprise tag, but I still am not impressed, another tag to cross off my list.
Convinced myself to go shopping later on. First stop, JoAnn's:
Two Hello Kitty blind bags, some washi and some elephant beads. Spent about $7.
I was hoping to find some of the cute woodland stuff I had received with one of my fall critter paperclip swaps. I didn't find any. I did find out that all the clearance stuff had another 25% taken off of them.
My second stop was the Salvation Army, it was sad. It looked like they cleaned out. They took down a bunch of their bric-a-brac shelves and there was like nothing. I was disappointed and left.
My last stop was Hobby Lobby. Christmas was 50% off, Paper Studio was 50% off and Halloween was 40% off. I never understand that. Christmas is still 2 months away yet, it's still marked down more than Halloween, which is less than a week away.
snowglobe stickers ($1), mini Santa ($1.50), gnome ($1.50), hot cocoa stickers ($1.25), starfish ornament ($1.50), hedge hog ($2) plaid fox ($2), mini wreaths ($2), Precious Moments angel ($4).
I thought the snowglobes were so cool. The hot cocoa stickers, I had received a few in a swap last year, now I can use them. I picked up the starfish, mini Santa, gnome and mini wreaths for swaps. I was looking at my pictures and noticed I'd already bought this gnome, I guess I have to use one in a swap now. The fox I bought for a friend, and the angel I bought for myself. Last year I got so excited when the angel figurine went down to 50% off, I love that they have ornaments that are the same as the figurines but half the price.
 Halloween bats ($1.50), unicorn keychains ($1.24), mermaid stickers ($1.50), fairy/unicorn stickers ($1.50), washi ($2.50), washi ($1), unicorn labels ($2.50), magnetic bookmarks ($1.50)
I just thought everything was cute. One of the YouTube channels I watch was saying that the whole sticker aisle was new, I agree there was a ton of new stickers, I can't believe I only bought 2 sheets. Total spent about $18
I put together more stuff when I got home. A favorite tag of holiday stickers:
It ended up being probably a parcel when I got it all bundled up, so I threw it in a bubble envelope and added some washi and called it good.
A collectors tag of dragons:
I was going to go with more, but thought I'd go flat, so just went with the stickers.
Collector's tag of owls:
This was another reason I went flat with the dragons.
Yellow crafting items swap:
this ended up being a parcel as well.
Finished my night by watching Identity.
Friday: I opened at the library, it was downtown trick or treat day, I love working these. I love seeing what people dress up as. One of my co-workers was giving me a hard time about not working next Thursday. I'm not giving up my day off to come see what people are dressing up as. Later I was out with another coworker and she mentioned that the one giving me grief wasn't even working on the 31st, so we were wondering why she was giving me such a hard time.
Anyways, we decided our favorite costume was a preying mantis.
My friend and I went shopping after work. First stop was Burger King for lunch, I had a pretzel king: a whopper with bacon and pretzel burger. I thought it was really good, even better than the one my mom likes at one of the more expensive burger places in town. I'm really a simple person, you don't need to spend a lot of money on my food to make me happy. I also got a cherry Surge, they had one of those cool Coke machines, and I just decided not to care. Afterwards we went to Dollar Tree:
I got four bottles of that sparkling cider (I'd love to buy a case of it, it's so good), only one sheet of stickers, nothing really jumped out at me. I love the seafoam green in the pen packs, so I got two, I misplaced a pack of these same black gel pens, so I got another one. I got the Tums I needed and some pantyliners, and then realized I was supposed to get fuzzy socks when I got home. To be fair, I don't think they had any, but I didn't even think of it. Picked up the frog loofah for November.
Next up was Target. I saw these bags in the dollar spot:
I almost bought the ones with the Typo, just because they had the typo.
Found this:
Which would have been great for my brother or I,
But it was $25, so I didn't pick it up.
What I did get:
Lost kitties ($5), fuzzy llamas ($2), How to train your dragon ($3).
I really should stop going to Target, there's nothing I need, and if there is it's probably a couple cents cheaper at Walmart, which is right next door.
Our last stop was JoAnn's:
I wanted a couple more of the Hello Kitty blind bags, and I picked up a cake pop cutie as well. The dinosaur and mummy were Thursday's purchases, I like the cowgirl, not too excited about the princess, but I like having a collection of Hello Kitty.
I wish I had chosen Fresh Thyme as our last stop, maybe I can convince my other friend to go next week. It's closing down and pricing everything out. I still have to go back down there to Walmart, I know this friend doesn't like Walmart, so I didn't push.
I should have gone with my original plan to ask if she wanted to go to the mall, we could have checked out some other stores I haven't been to in awhile.
No mail today either. :(
