Shaker clouds

August 24th: My mail was delivered really early around 10:30. I got 6 things in the mail.
A wish for sticker destash:
A pen pal letter:
A flat tag:
Another wish for sticker destash
I think I had 3 or 4 people grant my wish for sticker destash. I really don't need more stickers.
a wish for tea:

A blue crafting items swap
And an Etsy purchase. One of the videos I watch on Youtube, HappyMailQueen posted about buying these shakers from someone one Etsy, I fell in love with them and had to buy some myself.
I have no idea what I'll do with these, but I've been obsessed with them since I saw Karlene Moore haul them from Ali.
I also bought some cabochons:
Again, not sure what I'll do with them, but I'm also really loving resin pieces. The flatter ones on the bottom of the photo are actually a rubbery material.
And the extras I got:
Not sure what I'll do with any of it. The store is BeansandPeanuts
I spent the rest of the day getting stuff ready to mail and making things.
A wish for happy mail:
Again, I granted multiples. I found these punched envelopes I got at a garage sale and decided to share them.
Another happy mail wish:
And another one, these turned out to be a bit heavier than the other happy mail wishes I granted on Sunday.
I created another flip book with the prima paper pad. This was a show your work project for a new group.
I also created an explosion box with it. I was thinking about how wonderful it would be to make an explosion box with double sided paper, I'm pretty sure this is the first 12x12 paper pad I've gotten that's double sided. I'm still stuck on decorating the smallest box. I wanted to only decorate with the paper pad, but I'm not sure that's going to happen.
I also made some fall tags:
And made my own sticker destash, I ended up giving it to the youth department at the library. I was originally going to try and get rid of it on a reuse group on Facebook, but everytime I post something on there, it's like pulling teeth, I just get tired of trying to getting rid of stuff, people make it so hard to get them to pick it up.
August 25th: I went to help a friend unpack some stuff for a rummage sale and got the first pick. I found a bunch of cute buttons:
Some vintage jewelry, toys, and miscellaneous:
A lot of the jewelry I picked up to rip apart for crafting.
And a bunch more miscellaneous:
It was a fundraiser for a local nonprofit radio station, so I gave them $20.
I found this cool clock:
I did not buy it.
I also found this fun casserole dish with matching S&P shakers:
August 26: I got a wish granted of surprizamals:

I also got a wish granted of minion address labels. TOO cute.
I found these really cute pictures in a book at work:

And a monkey:
August 27: I got a Dollar Tree tag:
And a happy mail request:
August 28: I went to a couple garage sales and found this great sign while I was out.
The first sale:
Some Halloween stuff, tape, and whales from Finding Dory.
The second sale:
A few rolls of washi and yarn.
Found my You Matter box when I got home:
I think this is the best month yet. Not only do I love almost everything in the box, but I think I'll also use most of it.
June was great, too, but I don't think I'll really use anything that came in that one. July there were a couple things I liked, one I used.
This month, I really like the mask, the worry monster, the t-shirt, the hand sanitizer holder and the magnet. The other thing is called a cootie key, you're supposed to use it instead of using your hands to push buttons. I was a bit disappointed when I realized there wasn't actually hand sanitizer in the holder. I kinda don't want to go anywhere to buy some to put in it.
I'm trying to decide if I should renew it next month. The first few boxes weren't that great. I don't know.
I also received a personal swap of purple octopus address labels. Also wicked cute.

Christmas shopping

August 20: I received a flat swap in the mail:
We were to send 5 flat items to our partner. I really liked the sign, unfortunately my partner stuck the envelope to it, so it ripped when I opened the envelope.
August 21: I went to Hobby Lobby, I heard the Christmas stuff was already marked down 40% off. My store didn't even have everything out. I was hoping to go once it was on sale and not go back for the rest of the season, we'll see how that goes.
I felt this sign was so true:

I've been seeing people making those braided rainbows, and I saw this form for $5 and wanted to share it with people. The forms I've seen others using are wicked expensive.
And here's what I picked up:
Camper stickers, a Prima paper pad, sticker book, countdown clothespins, snowglobe stickers.
Close-ups of what's in the sticker book:

The epoxy snow globe stickers
The paper snow globe stickers:
I was really debating between the epoxy snow globes and the paper ones. I really liked both. I should have checked what I have, apparently I picked up the epoxy ones last year. Also the epoxy ones are 50 cents more.
And the camper stickers, they are puffy:
And the ornaments:
set of mini gnomes, Santa making a sand angel, sloth, shuffleboard, dinosaurs, more gnomes, yeti, white Christmas tree, a nurse ornament.
I really wanted the yeti and the dinosaurs, I've really been sucked into the gnomes and yetis. I have some from last year, but I totally see myself decorating with those this year.
Found a vacation mini pocket letter and vintage twinchies when I got home:

My partner got confused and sent the vintage twinchies thinking we were paired up for it. They were a nice bonus.
A wish for tea
I also created some fairy bookmarks:
August 22: was an extremely lazy day. I didn't get dressed or go out of the house except to get my mail which had a Send Me Something yummy waiting for me.
And then I devoured it. It's a pretty big hunk, I shouldn't have done that.
August 23: I put together a bunch of wishes:

One for a car air freshener, I got this in the flat swap, but I'll never use it.
I finished a beachy themed flip book:
three wishes for happy mail:
I tried putting about the same thing in all of them.
sticker sheets, memo sheets, a postcard, washi samples
And I created a couple altered canvases. This was the second one, I added some red gems to the spots on the fish's forehead.
This was the original, but I fell in love with it and couldn't pass it on.

It was a productive weekend.

All the stickers

August 15th: I had to work the weird in-between shift, 11-4, I'm not a big fan of this shift, I feel like I can't do anything with my day. I was excited when I realized I'd be done about 4:30 instead of 6:30, especially since I had to go grocery shopping after work and suppertime is not a great time to go grocery shopping. I also got some stuff ready to be mailed.
Dollar Tree:
I admit I went more flat this time around.
This or That: we offer two things and the other person picks what they want. I offered sticker sheets or happy mail, they chose sticker sheets:

A Winner Takes All of sticker sheets:
A mail request for cactus happy mail:
I found a couple things in my mailbox. Summer ATCs:
50 Loose stickers
Sometimes I feel like I sign up for some tags because I just want more mail. One of my resolutions this year was to sign up for tags because I wanted to do them, but then the pandemic happened and I just wanted mail again.
August 16: I said I'd make some patriotic ATCs for someone who was flaked on:

Send Me Something Cute:

I've had these hanging on my refrigerator for what seems like forever.
August 17: I kinda feel like this was my first day off since last Sunday, just with all the stress of the derecho and then to be going non-stop on Friday. I spent the day watching movies, I watched Mission Impossible: Fallout, Countdown and The Bourne Identity.
I found a wish for sticker destash in my mailbox:

August 18: Spent the day reading, did not get my book done. I put together a couple other things to be mailed. Flat tag:
A personal swap of destash:
Including a flat item for the tag:
I got a secret sister package ready to be mailed:
She likes stationery, caramels, gnomes, dragonflies, wax melts and fuzzy socks.
A blue crafting items swap:
I found 3 items in my mailbox on my way to work. A favorite color tag:
Not sure what I'm going to do with the embroidery floss. She also mailed a mermaid tag in the same envelope:
Cute stickers.
A wish for hedgehog stickers:
Another wish grant of sticker destash:
August 19: I opened at work, it was slowish, which seems to be our new normal. After visiting the post office and being told one of my envelopes would have been mailed as a parcel, I took it home to make it flatter, so as not to have to mail it as a parcel. I just took off some dimensional stickers:
It's for a mini vacation pocket letter, it will be mailed out tomorrow.
I found a few things waiting for me in the mailbox, a Dollar Store tag:
Another one of those tags I should stop doing.
And a Back to School Swap:

I need scissors and I'll definitely use the pens, not sure what I'll do with the rest of it, other than pass it on to someone else.
I've now received more mail this week than all of last week, I hope by saying that it doesn't jinx me, I know I have 2 more packages that should be delivered by the end of the week.
