Just curious

A couple questions for my readership:

1. Does an engagement ring have to be a diamond?

2. Is it possible to get a nice ring for under $1,000?

1. No, it doesn't. I've seen engagement rings with other precious stones, though most of them have smaller side diamonds.

2. Yes, especially if you look online and if you're not set on platinum. For example, www.danforthdiamond.com has a lot of great bands that aren't too expensive, especially if you get palladium (a very, very close cousin to platinum that is a fraction of the cost). You can also save money buy getting a stone that ranks lower on the 4 C's or by getting mossinite stones, which are basically high quality fake diamonds.

Hope that helps!

Being a kittay, if I gotted engagemented I would go for a mouse insted of a diamond.

but I thinks no it does not has to be a diamond. it can be anytthing you wants. and it will be cheaper on the internets than in the stores!!!!

yoo can also get a verrry puurdy cubic zirconium at www.betterthandiamond.com . they are ze better than ze moissonite because they look more like diamonds. moissonite is double refracting and zirconium is single refracting like diamond. moissonite looks green in office lights.

you may considers another stone something puurdy like aquamarine or ruby.

by the way I am a kitty and my name is Veronica. I am verryyy verrryyy smart thoughs.

too da loo!!!
