Two nights of going to bed after midnight and getting up at 7 am are not working for me. Sunday night was my fault, I got caught up in watching TV. I had to watch the Amazing Race, and then Cold Case, and I sorta got sucked into Without A Trace (That seems to happen every week). I wish they would start finding people alive again. It's so much nicer with the happy ending. And then I was taping Drive (new show on FOX), and I watched it afterward. I like it, I was originally just gonna watch it because of a sweet car from one of the commercials, but the story lines are kinda cute: there's the husband racing because his wife was kidnapped by the race people, the guy racing after getting out of prison, the father racing because he's only got a year left to live, the mom racing to get away from her abusive husband (I'm kinda guessing on that, they only hinted at it), Army guy and his wife she wants to win so he doesn't have to go back to Iraq, And of course they all have partners: husband with some chick whose parents were in the race when she was young and died, prison dude with half brother to get back at dad, father with daughter, mom with a chick she was supposed to 'eliminate', and Army guy with wife. It's pretty interesting. So, I was up til about midnight Sunday doing that.
Yesterday, I had to work the Jason Brown concert, he's a new country artist, it was a special thing for FFA. It was supposed to be a short call, we were supposed to be done by 11:30, but in our meeting beforehand, we were told that if he liked the crowd he would play 2 or 3 hours instead of the 90 min, and then at the beginning of the concert he made the announcement that he would stay until he gave everyone an autograph. I love it how people don't think about others. I don't care if you people want an autograph I wanna go home at a decent time. I usually don't mind working that late, but we're usually informed when we call in that we will be working that late, not just because the performer's being an ass (like GnR). Thankfully we didn't have any problems, he played for an hour and 45 minutes, then signed autographs, til I'm guessing we left.
Lessons I've learned:
1. Not to leave plastic on the toaster oven when you're using it as an oven.
2. My smoke detector is in working order
3. Milk becomes chunky after a certain time.
Anyone interested in some chunky milk?
I was woken up shortly after 7 this morning to dream guy riding home from work on his bike. Jackass. I've noticed that he gets annoyed when people do shit that wakes him up (he's on night shift, so sleeps during the day), but its ok for him to ride his Harley when the majority of the population is trying to sleep. Some people are such hypocrites.

Save me from this nothing I've become
I'm so in the dumps lately. I think it has something to do with me not taking my walks since Thurs. I know walking's good for you, but it also lifts my spirits, I know it has something to do with endorphins which make you happy. I don't know, look it up.
Anyways, I didn't take my walk on Thurs or Fri because the electrician was supposed to come at 2, and then I just waited until about 5, hoping he'd still show up. I didn't go out for one yesterday because it rained practically all day. Today, I'm thinking about wandering over to Karli's cause I wanna drop off her b-day present (her b-day was March 7th, I haven't seen her since March 2nd, and she said she didn't want it early).
So, last night I had a great dream, featuring Dream Guy (no nothing sexual, you people have dirty minds). We chatted, something I wish I could do with him all the time. I wish he were a friend, sigh. So, a For Rent sign popped up in front of his duplex this past week, but I think it's for the people on the 2nd floor (or at least that's what I'm telling myself, so I don't freak out). Course I won't really know until Aug 1st (when the leases flip over here).
No post for cops last night. It was an hour of repeats and I went to the student-run fashion show, and I didn't feel like taping an hour of reruns. Also, I've decided to cut back on my statuette awarding. I'm only giving them to people on new eps (sorry Officer Pilutik). I'll still comment on the old eps if I'm watching, but I won't be awarding the statuettes to officers on the old eps.

Come back baby, please come back
Men are happier people:
What do you expect from such simple creatures? Your last name stays put. The garage is all yours. Wedding plans take care of themselves. Chocolate is just another snack. You can be President. You can never be pregnant. You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park. You can wear NO shirt to a water park. Car mechanics tell you the truth. The world is your urinal. You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky. You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt. Same work, more pay. Wrinkles add character. Wedding dress $5000 Tux rental-$100. People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them. The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected. New shoes don't cut, blister, or mangle your feet. One mood all the time.
Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat. You know stuff about tanks. A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase. You can open all your own jars. You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend.
Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Three pairs of shoes are more than enough. You almost never have strap problems in public. You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes. Everything on your face stays its original color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck.
You can play with toys all your life. Your belly usually hides your big hips. One wallet and one pair of shoes -- one color for all seasons. You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can "do" your nails with a pocket knife. You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache. You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25 minutes.
No wonder men are happier.
So continuing on with the soundtrack of my life, I found a song that relates to my (lack of) realtionship with dream guy
Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne
Hey Hey You You
I don't like your girlfriend
No way No way
I think you need a new one
Hey Hey You You
I could be your girlfriend
Hey Hey You You
I know that you like me
No way No way
No, it's not a secret
Hey Hey You You
I want to be your girlfriend
You're so fine
I want you mine
You're so delicious
I think about you all the time
You're so addictive
Don't you know
What I can do
To make you feel alright
Don't pretend I think you know
I'm damn precious
And hell yeah
I'm the mother fucking princess
I can tell you like me too
And you know I'm right
She's like so whatever
You can do so much better
I think we should get together now
And that's what everyone's talking about
Hey Hey You You
I don't like your girlfriend
No way No way
I think you need a new one
Hey Hey You You
I could be your girlfriend
Hey Hey You You
I know that you like me
No way No way
No, it's not a secret
Hey Hey You You
I want to be your girlfriend
I can see the way
I see the way
You look at me
And even when you look away
I know you think of me
I know you talk about me all the time
again and again
So come over here
and tell me what I wanna hear
Better, yet, make your girlfriend disappear
I don't wanna hear you say her name ever again
OK, I have no idea if the 2nd verse is true (it would be nice if it was, but I doubt it).
Found this in my April Reader's Digest. The money "provides the means to send children on a camping adventure - a week to forget about cancer and a week to share experiences with friends - a week to do art - a week to laugh and enjoy the wonders of summer!" So, it's a great cause. It sucks when anyone gets cancer, but children are just trying to grow up, they don't need to dealw ith cancer as well.

My mother came to Hazard when I was just 7
ugh, so I'm a little worse for wear today. Thank you Snow God, when I meet you we're gonna have a show down. I don't mind the snow so much, but this 'storm' as the weather people are calling it, sucked to shovel afterwards. It rained pretty much all day yesterday (that's the good news), and then it started to snow last night. So, today when I went out (yes, Goddess, I did shovel), the slush from yesterday was frozen, with the snow filling in the patterns, that's hell to shovel. Cause it's not like its nice and flat to shovel. And then there were bits that were very drifted, but no big strong winds that the weather people said we'd have (I was kinda hoping we would for 2 reasons, one some of the snow would blow away, and two, I'd have a good reason not to go out and shovel). So, I decided to go out when it was supposed to feel the warmest (+9), well it was a lot warmer feeling than 9, or I'm sick, cause I had to go back in and change into my leather jacket from my big heavy winter jacket. And as I'm out there, I had the urge to take even my leather jacket off. I've heard and read that hypothermia makes you feel hot, so I could have been sick, but who knows, we all know I don't visit the dr. After about 45 minutes I got sick of trying to shovel snow that wasn't gonna move for me, and the fact that Dream Guy across the way (or his roommate) invested in a snowblower and was using that. So, I went inside, I was so pissed I was almost crying (I have no idea where those tears came from), so I was stripping off my coat, hat, scarf, boots, gloves, and pants (I had long underwear underneath), and my pants got caught in the headphone wire on my mp3 player and knocked it down a couple stairs, so I got pissed, swore and hit the wall (there was a lot of power in that hit), and now my hand hurts, nothing feels broken (not that I would know what something broken feels like, but I figured if the side of the hand feels the same as the other hand, it has to be normal, right?), but it does hurt.
Oh, and I've also decided that I would love it if I had a cop (or other guy to complain to) on one of my many IM lists. I figure, Goddess has to get annoyed with my complaining some time, and it would just be nice to have a guy to complain to. Someone that doesn't really know me (its more fun that way).

She's so high, high above me
So, I got to talk to Dream Guy today. We were both working the basketball game (I was more than excited to work, since I haven’t worked in a week, course after tomorrow I won’t have work for another week). But I noticed he was working, and I got the nerve up to chat with him a little bit (I would have loved to follow him around and keep chatting with him, but I know people get a little weird, and I really don’t need to have the cops weirded out about me. Yeah, that would help my life.
Anyways, if you haven’t heard yet, Dierks Bentley (with Miranda Lambert) is coming to my town, I’m very excited. And we got the good fortune of having him come on a Friday (we usually have concerts in the middle of the week it’s like they don’t wanna pick a good day). And also within this month we’re getting the Cirque Du Soleil. I also can’t wait to work that. I was telling my coworkers I hope to work all 3 of them because I love working long doors (which means I’m on the outside of the inside so I don’t get to watch it), and most people with the big concerts/events like to work short doors (they only work about 2 hours) and then go in and watch, or usher (they’re inside helping people find their seats). So, I’m holding my breath and crossing my fingers to work all three of them.
All right, y’all let me know if I’m wrong or not, but wasn’t Officer Anthony Pilutik in the opening sequence for the first ep? When they’re showing another officer doing a ‘follow the pen with your eyes’ test (yeah, I bet that’s the technical name for it) and there’s an officer that you’re kinda staring at head on?
Fontana, CA: 2 hotties dragging the fat ass dripping black dude.
Officer Jay Sayegh: “The subject’s obviously not willing to stop” Well duh, “Once they hear that dog barking they know there’s no hope for them.” Oh, Officer Jay is full of interesting quotes. And some nice red ink peaking out from under the sleeve of his uniform.
Wichita, KS: Officer Rob Thatcher, Officer Dustin Nail, Officer Ben Jonker,
Now, am I the only one who thinks #1 should be it shouldn’t be happening at all? And I don’t like the non-uniform uniforms. Not nice looking. Also, everyone knows that crown victorias are cop cars, it doesn't work to use them as unmarked. Everytime I see a Crown Vic (or Ford Taurus, as that's what my dept uses), I look for extra antenna, cause we all know if there's more than 2, it's an unmarked cop car.
Covington, KY: Officer Gary Smallwood (dubbed Officer YUMMY!)
Ugh! I hate the mother talking in the background “She’s never been in trouble in her life” ya know what? You’re not helping, shut up and back up, and let your daughter tell her story. Did y’all see the look in Officer Rudolph’s eyes after the guy starts crying and whinning about how his ex-girlfriend came by and sprayed him in the eyes?
I almost enjoy the opening sequence of the reruns 2nd hour as much as I enjoy watching the hotties in the show.
Dude, we all knew you were awake the moment you stopped snoring. You can’t say you sleep that deeply when you got a cop yelling that loudly at you. “I was sleeping, so you can’t come into my house”
Chattanooga, TN: Officer Derrick Pendergrass, Officer Pete Miller
OK, so I recognize Officer Derrick’s voice before I even saw him this time.
Palm Springs, CA: Officer Anthony Pilutik, Officer Arnold Galvan
I could give Officer Pilutik an award, just for his humorous commentary. "It just magically appeared ok?" He's always got such a laid back attitude with the idiots he deals with.
I wish someday, some money would magically appear in my apartment, but I highly doubt that's ever gonna happen.
Alright, because I don’t want to fill up Officer Pilutik’s shelf too quickly, he doesn’t get a statuette tonight. (Don’t worry, I can guarantee you’ll get another one in the future, at least one). So, tonight’s statuettes (we’re going with 2 tonight, it was a hard decision, lots of drool worthy guys) go to:
Officer Gary Smallwood (Officer Yummy) from Covington, KY
And the second one goes to our cutie in TN, Officer Derrick Pendergrass of Chattanooga. And I know he’s adding this to his shelf too.
And I think I’m on something tonight, waay too much shit is funny. So, I’m enjoying the tax commercials lately. Like the one for Turbo Tax (?) where the couple is getting audited and the chick says “well let’s ask the people who did our taxes, oh wait we used a box, so let’s ask the box.” So, she holds the box up to her ear “ uh huh, yep”. “What’s it saying?” “Nothing, it’s a box”
I also love the one for H&R block, where the couple is in the kitchen and the wife digs out some envelopes from the garbage and asks the husband “what is this” “Looks like garbage” “No, these are our bills.” "Looks like garbage" "No, these are our bills, how can you just toss out our bills?" “I got people, they took care of them.” “You got people?” “I got people?” “You GOT people.” “I GOT people” “So, this is garbage.” "Yep."
Oooo, am I the only one that wants to see Ghost Rider when it comes out? When I saw the previews in the theater I wanted to see it, and then I forgot about it, but I just saw a commercial for it after the cops opening sequence. Oooh, just seeing the skeleton of fire of that gorgeous bike, yeah that turned me on. Course by now, you should know that.

I ran through the woods
So I was thinking tonight. Mostly how much I want a guy, but also why I don't like Dream Guy's girlfriend so much. I think it's because he has one, if I had a boyfriend, I don't think I'd care. Also, if I wasn't really wanting one, I don't think I'd care that much either. There's also the proximity thing. He's so close, so much about him is what I want in a guy, if he were across town, I wouldn't care as much. Actually there is another officer who's life kinda mirrors Dream Guy's life (they both have nice trucks, both cops, both have motorcycles, both are good looking, and both have girlfriends).
I've also noticed this with the cops. I was noticing this week, that since I haven't walked past the cars, I don't yearn as much to talk to them, or be close to them (not in a sexy way, I know some of y'all were thinking it). It's not as painful either, it hurts when I walk by the cars and I don't get to ride in them, talk to the officers (or whatever, still not sure why there's a yearning), and when I don't walk by them it doesn't hurt as much. Though I do know that when I get off work tomorrow, I'll be walking by them (guess I'm a glutton for punishment).
So I realized today what the Plain Sight Doctrine is: the thing that you're looking for is in plain sight and the hardest to find (that is right, isn't it? lol). Or maybe that's the civilians version of it.
I was also realizing today, that whenever I put on my new boots, I wanna go out and party or do something really fun. And I REALLY LOVE THESE BOOTS. And my friends are sick of hearing that. But that's a good sign, it would be really bad if I bought them and decided I didn't really like them, or hated them. I just wish it were warmer so I could try out the other reason I got them for.
I'm really wanting warmer weather: to ride, to swim, to wear skimpier clothing. I think most of it is just cause I didn't really have a vacation this year. The other part (that I just realized now) I believe is because I'm not in class. Usually when I don't have class for more than a week it's summer time.
Some one please take me away from here.
Here's a song for the mood I'm in:
Hell Yeah by Montgomery Gentry
He works way too much for way too little
He drinks way too early till way too late
He hasn't had a raise since New Year's Day
In eighty-eight gets trampled by everyone
Except when he comes in here
And he's the product of the Haggard generation
He's got a redneck side when you get him agitated
He got the gold toothed look from a stiff right hook
He's proud he took for his right wing stand on Vietnam
Says he lost his brother there
He yells out Johnny Cash
And the band starts to play
A ring of fire as he walks up
And stands there by the stage
And he says
Hell yeah!
Turn it up!
Right on!
Hell Yeah!
Sounds good!
Sing that song!
Guitar man playin' all night long
Take me back to where the music hit me
Life was good and love was easy
She's got an MBA and a plush corner office
She's got a don't mess with me attitude
She'll close a deal she don't reveal that she can feel
The loneliness the emptiness
Except when she comes in here
She's the product of the Me generation
She's got a rock and roll side when you get her agitated
She got the tattoo there on her derriere from a spring break dare
In Panama where love was all she thought she'd ever need
She yells out to the band
Know any Bruce Springsteen
Then she jumps up on the bar
And she, and she starts to scream
She says
Hell yeah!
Turn it up!
Right on!
Hell yeah!
Sounds good!
Sing that song!
Guitar man playin' all night long
Take me back to where the music hit me
When life was good and love was easy
Yeah, yeah
Can or can't you get my mind off thinkin' 'bout
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Hey, hell yeah
Hell yeah
Turn it up
Right on
Hell yeah
Sounds good
Sing that song
Guitar man playin' all night long
Take me back to where the music hit me
When life was good
Hell yeah!
Turn it up!
Right on!
Hell yeah!
Sounds good!
Sing that song!

I was so ashamed of what I'd done
Yep, there it is. These are 2 pics of the snow, and the driveway I had to shovel.
So, I got it all done. Nicely (sarcasm) we live on a corner, so I had two public sidewalks, four private sidewalks, the whole driveway, and the porch. It only took me like 5 or so hours. I know I took some breaks and as I was getting to the end, it took so damn long.
Ooo, and you can see dream guy's house and truck across the way. See that house across the street in the upper left hand corner, with a red truck in the driveway? That's where he lives. So close, and yet so far away.

This high speed rodeo is all I know
UGH! Who do I complain to when there's no one online to complain to? Plus it's after 10 so I don't wanna call anyone and bug them if they're doing something. So, lucky for all you readers you get to read about it.
I'm pissed about something at work, but I will not complain about that. I don't need someone from work to find this and read something that was a heat of the moment comment and get my ass fired or get in trouble for it. Though I'd love to.
Something else that happened at work. Well, I saw my two hottie cop neighbors. And I hate how they don't quite know it's me. One of them I'm pretty sure doesn't even know I live across the street from him. He's the one that works with the University police that was in a near fatal motorcycle accident last May. So, I understand that, but the other one (Dream Guy) knows I live across the street and he knows I work at the Center. But I guess it's the whole different places, different clothes crap. Cause last year, I'm pretty sure he knew I worked there and lived across the street from him. This year I've rarely seen him in person, mostly it's in a city police car and of course he doesn't recognize me, or in person at work. But it annoys me to death. And of course talking to hott cops makes me nervous, course talking to hotties makes me nervous and talking to cops I don't know that well makes me nervous so stick them together. Plus, they're usually only passing by and either don't wanna talk, or don't have time.
The other thing I'm complaining about, and not caring if someone from my Yahoo! group finds this and reads this. As most of you know I do art, and I've been told I'm pretty good at it. Well, lately I've been doing things called Art Trading Cards, where the canvas is the size of a baseball card, and we create sets according to certain themes. I'm sure you can find something if you google it. Anyways, one of the groups I'm in deals with the theme of collage, meaning we are sent a package of items, and we have to use at least one of the items on our card and write on the back what we used. Well, the owner/moderator (person who runs the group) has been MIA for the last couple of months, and we've tried individual emails, and group emails, since no one really knows her personally, that's all we can really do. Well, one of the members M posted a message the other day wondering what we could really do, to me (I suppose I could be wrong) it sounded like she wanted someone to take over or create a new group and do swaps as we used to. Get a package of stuff do the cards in about a month, send to the owner who would swap them out and get them back to us within 2 or 3 weeks. So, I proposed to do that, to which she replied today, that if it was the same setup, she just wouldn't like to be in the group. THEN WHAT THE HELL DOES SHE WANT? She knows how the group is run, and most of the people like the slow pace of only one swap a month (in another group we have multiple swaps going on at the same time), and there's nothing any of us can do since we don't know the moderator personally, and only the moderator can change anything in the group. I so wanted to send a bitchy email back to her, but I bit my lip.
I'm so sick of dealing with people that say one thing and then turn around and say another. Or maybe I'm just so pissed with what happened at work, which didn't make much sense. I just wanna hit something.

Just walking through the front door puts a smile on my face
Oh Dream Guy, you are so hott, you have a sweet truck, a gorgeous bike, a cute dog, you're in the profession I love, you're a country fan (or at least a Rascal Flatts fan), and you make me drool and blush everytime I see you. Won't you be mine?
Yes, I found out Dream Guy likes country, or like I said above Rascal Flatts. Can't I just take him? Sigh. So, I'm pissed, happy, and want to get drunk. How's that for a mood? I'm pissed about something at work, but I'm not gonna discuss it, cause work is the one thing I will not discuss on here. Happy because I took my last final today, I hope I got enough to get me a C- or above in the class, cross your fingers, hold your breath and say a prayer, ok? And I want to get drunk because I'm pissed and happy.
So, yeah, no more finals, all that's left is to wander across the stage on Sat, pick up my diploma holder (cause final grades aren't due until the 19th, and then they'll send us our diplomas). I love how we go through the graduation ceremony BEFORE we really know if we got the grades and passed everything. Yeah that's helpful.
And, I've started a graduation fund already, with the $$ Karli's mom gave me, the $$ my bosses at the library gave me & the money they gave me as a holiday present, plus the $$ I got for selling my textbooks, I've already got enough to be drunk for awhile, or at least cover 1 month's rent.
I don't know if I wanna get drunk, I'd love to have the birthday party I didn't have this year. Nice fruity drinks, cause I don't like wine or beer, cake, presents, money, friends, warm weather, and bikes, what more could a girl want?

All is calm and the world is still asleep
It's me complaining about being single AGAIN, that and guys.
So there's this guy I like (OK, there's a lot of guys I like), but he's got a girlfriend, so what does it mean that I secretly want them to break up so I can have a shot at him? This is actually very weird, because I used to be able to say to people that I wouldn't do anything to mess up the relationships of the guys I like.
And speaking of guys, there's a friend of mine that I met online awhile ago, well he keeps telling me he's gonna come visit me, he started talking about it last winter, and said he'd come visit before school started back again, that didn't happen. Then he said he'd visit this summer, also didn't happen. Then he kept saying he had to get his vehicle fixed so he could come visit me. Then about 3 weeks ago, he told me I should move on, not that I'm saying no to any other guys that ask me out (as if I'd get lucky and a guy would ask me out, or even be interested in me). And then yesterday, he got online, and we chatted for a few minutes, and he told me he was in NC, and that he just wanted to say hi. No mention of coming here to visit me or anything (and he knows I want him to), last time we chatted he said next time he went on a trip he would come visit me.
So, what do you think I should say to him? And am I just holding on to something that's never gonna happen? Should I get rid of all hope that he'll actually come?
I do wish I had someone to cuddle with, that would be especially nice now cause it's gonna get cold soon, and I'm not really just waiting for him (as I said up there), I don't have any guys that are waiting to see if this guy's gonna come visit me before they can make a move.
Sorry, about complaining about this so much people, but I am really getting sick of being single. I see people with gf's/bf's on campus and I get so jealous. I hate seeing it in my neighborhood, and I really hate seeing the guys I like that have someone. I'm so sick of being single.

Good love's gonna shine
So, I had to mow the lawn today (probably the last time this year), that didn't bother me. I have to do it anyway. I have a contract (more spoken than written, though if it were written we wouldn't have this problem), that I have to mow the lawn to help with my discounted rent price, but they like to change it on me, so today I got to mow the lawn and the leaves, which takes twice as long, cause you have to keep stopping and empty the bag. Anyway I got in a fight about it with my dad, I was soo pissed (actually I still am), it didn't bother me so much the fight, but he had to do it when dream guy was walking to work (so not only did I miss out on seeing dream guy go to work, but I lost a argument with my dad in front of him). I really wanted to just jump on my dad I was so pissed. I really don't mind mowing the lawn, I hate it my parents have so much power over me. If I had the money (well I'd give myself the thing I want, but if I couldn't do that) I'd move as far away from parents as I could, and never come back, never call/write them.

Who says you can't go home?
A forum that I belong to is mainly badge bunnies and I didn't realize until today how much they dislike wives of cops. Someone had said one of them was a tramp and they took offense to that, but if you know what a badge bunny is, basically, you are a tramp. Apparently last year a cop's wife came in and dissed the badge bunnies and the bunny's got mad and the fight was on. And people wonder why there's a stereotype of cops cheating on their wives, when you have a bunch of bunny's, it's not hard to figure out.
Personally, I'm not a badge bunny, I just like cops, I don't sleep with them and I don't plan to unless I happen to be dating/married to one.
I'm trying to decide whether to leave the group or not, it seems to be mostly sex talk, which is not the reason I joined. I'm not looking to talk to a bunch of people about my sex life, their sex life, or the fact that they think they're hot. I'm looking for intelligent talk, is that so much to ask for?
Also, I have this guy in my neighborhood who I was talking to awhile ago, and he was complaining about some workers working on stuff at his house in the morning when he was trying to sleep. I realized last night that he's a hypocrite, as he has a tendency to get home at 11PM and ride off on his Harley, which everyone knows is quite noisy. So I don't see how it's ok for you to make noise when other people are trying to sleep, but it's not ok when someone else is making noise when you're trying to sleep. And of course these workers didn't start working until at least 8AM or later, when normal people are up. If the guy wasn't out doing stuff all night long, he'd be awake too. I love the guy (though he doesn't know it, maybe more of a deep like, I just happen to love all the cops in my city for what they do), but a little common sense would be nice.
