Venting

I hate it when people think they are better than everyone else, or feel like they should get out of something because they did something in the community.
It happends on Cops all the time, when they start the "Do you know who I am", and then they get upset when the cop doesn't care, or says you need to be quiet while I do my job. I am a fan of just deserts, you do something wrong, you should totally get punished for it. You leave things out for people to steal, they should get stolen. You do a crime, you get punished for it. You get in the way of an officer doing their job, you should get arrested for getting in the way (I know there's a more official way of saying this, but I can't remember). I know quite a few cops in this city, but I would never play the I know so and so card to get out of something, if I screw up I totally hope any cop I know would punish me for it.
I hate how people always say how they pay taxes so they pay the cop's salary, or shouldn't money be spent in a different way than punishing the hard working people of this town.

By the way, I'm not just bias to other people, my mom likes to pull the "Do you know who I am card", of course, she no longer is on the city council, but I wouldn't be surprised if she pulled the "I know the mayor card". Nobody should get out of their punishment if they screwed up.

There goes my hero, watch him as he goes

Some people will do anything to get out of things.
I recently learned a friend of mine had to retire early from the police department because some woman hit him while he was directing traffic during RAGBRAI last year. She's claiming post traumatic stress disorder from an incident with the police here in 2006. I think that's a load of crap.
I'm very bummed that my friend had to retire, he's one of the ones that loved his job and would have worked it until forced retirement. And, unfortunately, now he has been, but way too early in his career.

"I truly love my job, and so it's very hard to just come to this realization that I can't do this anymore," Schultz said. "It wasn't something where I was going to a call that I know there might be a rist of injury. This never should have had to happend."

Any police officers read this have any comments?

Ames police win award, national attention

Ames Police Chief Chuck Cychosz speaks at Tuesday's City Council of how Officer Clint Hertz and Lt. Jeff Brinkley pulled a man from a burning car on Dec. 27, 2007. Hertz and Brinkley received the Award of Valor, the department's highest honor.
The patrol car video of Lt. Jeff Brinkley and Officer Clint Hertz dragging an unconscious man from a burning vehicle has garnered national attention and was shown, yet again, at the Ames City Council meeting Tuesday night.
Family, friends, colleagues and local news media packed the council chambers of Ames City Hall to watch Brinkley and Hertz receive Awards of Valor from the Ames Police Department for their actions. The award is the department's highest honor.
Brinkley was the first responder to the scene of a car fire in the parking lot of North Grand Mall on the evening of Dec. 27. He broke a window of the vehicle to clear smoke and was joined soon after by Hertz. The two men discovered the unconscious accident victim, Justin Hallberg, and were able to drag him to safety just as the car became engulfed in flames. Medical personnel believe Hallberg had only seconds before being overcome by smoke inhalation.
Police have said Hallberg's car collided with a light pole, which is what caused the vehicle to start on fire.
Since the department's release of the video on Jan. 18, it has been picked up by television affiliates across the country, covered by CNN TV and posted on CNN.com.
Police Chief Chuck Cychosz commended the officers for their actions. He also thanked the dispatchers, the Ames Fire Department and Mary Greeley medical services, which assisted the officers' speedy response. Cychosz expressed special consideration to the officer's wives, Lisa Brinkley and Stacy Hertz, who "watched this event through special eyes."
The awards, presented by Commanders Jim Robinson and Randy Kessel and Support Services Manager Doug Houghton, were followed by a standing ovation from the crowd. A reception followed across the hall for family, friends and well-wishers.

You gotta satisfy your heart

It's -9 degrees here. That's the coldest it's been all winter, can't say I'm looking forward to going to work.
Goddess tipped me on some of the officers in my city (Oh no, now you all will know where I'm from, the horrors) dragging a person out of a burning car. Go here for a video and story about it. They are receiving the Award of Valor, the highest honor an officer can receive. Kevin had told me about this the day after it happened. The one officer Hertz, had only been out of training for about a week, and now he can say he actually saved a life on his job. How cool would that be, how long does it really take for an officer to be able to say that because of his direct actions he saved a life?
Other things happening this week. It's cold, oops that was mentioned above. Kevin had his birthday on Tuesday, it was nice, I took him to Red Lobster, and then I had to send him home because I've had a cold all week and wasn't feeling great then. I'm looking for a job AGAIN. The job I have now is moving to a city north of us, and I won't be going with it. So, that means I'm looking for another one. My coworker told me I have to know what I want: job with benefits, job with money, or job that I enjoy, etc. I don't know. Personally I'd just like to make enough money covering my bills but I know that if I don't enjoy it, I'm going to be a bitter person.
I think that's all. Enjoy.

Or leaving out the truth

So, I've been neglecting to watch COPS lately, though I did tune in last week and this week. I was happy to see one of my favorite officers tonight, Officer Anthony Pilutik of the Palm Springs, California police department. It's always nice to see one of the hotties on, when I find the time to watch.
Good to see you again, Officer P.

Dana Schulps

Making up for the last 3 weeks of cops:

Las vegas, NV:
“Not your van, but you’re in the driver’s seat?”
“I’m crazy, I’ll try to run both directions if I have to”
“Anything I forgot, you’d like me to add on?”
Boise, ID:
The guy that was arrested for stalking seemed really calm for being “set up”. If I was set up, I think I’d be a little more upset.
Brevard county, FL: FTO Brad Bellflower,
Nothing illegal in the guy’s pocket, except maybe the container full of drugs, and the syringe. And he still walks to the back of the cop car with that stance that he’s so cool, at least he’s not balling his eyes out.
“That’s what happens when you ride dirty, you go to jail”

Wichita, KS: Officer Matthew Hoyt, Officer Aaron Whiteman
Riverside County, CA:
Ever notice how no one with normal families is on cops? Maybe she shouldn’t tell the cop, “If I could I’d kill him”, not a good choice of words.
Cincinatti, OH: Officer Donny Meece,
Hillsborough Country, FL: Deputy James Ennis, Deputy Gabriel Aquino,
If y’all are gonna show us the officers, at least give us names with them. it’s so mean to show a hottie and then not tell us who he is
“Like I said, crime don’t pay, right? ‘Cause everything you took, we got back, and you’re empty-handed.”
Las vegas, NV: Officer Kevin Phillipson
Could you take a little longer to tell your side of the story, lady. It seemed like she was on something, she’d talk, long pause, talk, long pause. There is something missing from their stories, she has the long pauses, he’s saying his heart is bothering him, but he doesn’t want medical attention, he repeatedly says the drugs he’s taking are all prescription, even though he states he’s a police officer in Boston.
They’ve been married a month, after one physical fight, he’s ready to give up. Of course he looks like he’s over 50, and she looks 30 or so.
Boston, MA: Trooper Jesse Sweet, Officer Marc Sullivan,
I love Trooper Sweet’s reaction when he opens the van door: “Well who’s sack of weed is this?”
And then, (I’m guessing) the people rubbernecking at the traffic stop on the side of the road cause an accident. And all the people stuck behind them start honking, people are so fucked up.
Fontana, CA:
“Once they hear that K-9 bark, and they know that there’s no hope for them.”
It’s always a nice sight, when the guy’s laying on the ground, a bunch of cops on him, crying “I give up, I give up”
“turned out to be something really good”
Wichita, KS: Officer Rob Thatcher, Officer Dustin Nail, Officer Ben Jonker
Covington, KY:

Las vegas, NV: Officer Blaine Holmes,
Hillsborough County, FL: Deputy Keith Edwards,
Oskaloosa County, FL:

can't you see what the world has done

I was doing my stats this morning, and some of the shit people look up, and then come to my site for is just wrong. I've had quite a few searches for:

Reba's boob job - Ya know from the ACM's last week,

Thank god for turnip greens - which isn't even the real line, the full line is "Thank god for good directions and turnip greens, now I'll get all the searches for that

Cops - from various cities and various officers, I don't see the need to list them all

Derrick Pendergrass - there've been quite a few for him lately, so he gets a separate line ;) (sorry Officer Pilutik)

dirty old men - or some form of that, those searches have been down lately, most likely cause I'm not up in the top results, now I've changed that.

Jason Aldean - different renditions of him, mostly his cowboy hat, though I did have one for his tattoo last week, hell I didn't even know he HAD a tattoo

The strange ones I've had recently:

cops cameraman - like I really know anything about that, like I even give a damn, try the cops website

how to Blow Myself - and thank you so much for coming to my site to find out, jackass

sunglasses worn by Carrie Underwood in before he cheats video - why the hell would you care about that, if you're gonna be looking about stuff in music videos, how about the car in Red Dirt Road by Brooks N Dunn, or the car in Wherever You Are by Jack Ingram, focus on the important stuff people (by the way, if anyone knows what those cars are, I'd be interested in the answer)

bleeding beneath the toe - I don't think I'm the person you should be taking medical advice from, one of my readers maybe, but certainly not me. I'm guessing the medical community would frown upon my response to any kind of accidents: if it hurts, ignore it; if it's bleeding, apply pressure, elevate, and ignore it.

And of course quite a few for song lyrics, also don't feel like listing them all. As much as I love getting visitors, I know most of these people, if not all will not return to read me again.

When I was checking out my stats I was listening to the top 40 countdown (?), mostly because it was the only station without church crap, or nascar crap on, also cause there was a good song on it when I was passing by. Anyways I used to listen to this when I was younger and Casey Casem (sp?) was doing it, now its Ryan Seacrest, who's stupid thought was it to pass it on to him. It's so wrong. Another good thing ruined due to someone's idiotic idea.

Thank you blogger for your autosave, its so nice on days like this when my IE is being an ass, this way I don't lose anything.

I get to go on my walk today, I'm very happy about that. When I first started working I was going to go on it once I got off, but my feet are so tired from standing for 5 -6 hours, all I wanna do is come home and sit. Hopefully, I'll either be standing less, or my feet will get used to standing and I can do my walks more often than the 2 days I have off. Cross your fingers.

You're part of my entity

Seems pretty typical, that the one time I don't watch Cops, one of my favorite hotties was on it. Sigh.
Now, because I haven't given one of these in weeks and Officer Pilutik is one of my FAVORITE hotties, he's adding it to his shelf, just 'cause he was on, how's that for cool.

Very sorry I missed you, Officer P ;)

Everything I am

OK, so I finally got around to watching the COPS episode that was on 2 weeks ago. There was one segment in Brevard County, FL where the officer pulled a guy over and the dude was chewing on/eating marijuana and the cop arrested the guy, searched his car and then let the guy go with his court date. I don't get that. If he's just gonna release the guy, I don't understand why he was able to search the car. It almost seems that he put the guy under arrest just to search the car, though I don't think that's true. Can anyone explain it to me?

Has anyone seen commercials for this new show, Pirate Master? My guess, I'm gonna end up watching it, but I don't understand why you'd want to do it (be in it, not watch it).

Speaking of TV shows, I'm pissed at FOX, and not just becuase they've decided to play NASCAR and other things in place of COPS. If you've paid attention, I got sucked into the show Drive, it started on April 15th for a 2 hour season premiere, had another new episode on the 16th, and another one on the following Monday. And now we're in limbo. I've checked the website and it says tune in for the final 2 episodes this summer. How wrong is that? 6 episodes and the season's over with, it's just wrong.
A bunch of my other shows are done for the season. Amazing Race ended Sunday, model boy and his gf won.
Cold Case ended on Sunday, Lilly Rush (one of the detectives) was shot, and it ended with her hanging onto her life. If CBS drops her, I guarantee I will stop watching the show.
The Search for the next Pussycat Doll (yes, I watched it) ended a couple weeks ago, with Asia winning.
America's Next Top Model (Yes, I watch this) will end next Wed, as will Bones and Medium.
Supernatural will end next Thurs, its supposed to be a two-part finale, so I'm taping and watching it tonight and next Thurs, then I'm gonna watch it all together.
Survivor's 2 hr finale is sunday. I still can't figure out who's gonna win, or at least who's gonna be gone at next tribal council and so on.

Also, for all of you that were Pickett Fences fans way back in the day, the 1st season will finally be coming out on DVD on June 19th.

Lessons I've learned:
5. If it doesn't come off with 409, try Comet

Thank God for turnip greens

Nice to know no one missed me. Course it's only been a week, maybe I shoulda waited longer. There's nothing exciting going on here. Had the electricians come on Fri to do the central air work. I've heard the air conditioning guy is coming back today, but he never talked to me, and no one reminded me last night (which they usually do when someone's coming up, just in case).
Saturday, Karli and I went to the Hog Roast at the local Harley store. I should have taken my camera, I know. With the combination of good looking bikers and bikes, oh well. It was fun, but very painful, as I haven't been out on a ride yet this season. Course the weather makes it feel further into the season than it is (Season starts April 1st, so we're only 1 month into it). Then we went to Panera's for snack (kinda funny since we just ate at the Hog Roast) and a drink, those I.C. things, very good. I ordered one that I thought wouldn't taste like coffee, it still did, but it was kinda like a mudslide, the more I drank it, the less it tasted like coffee, plus the coldness kinda throws it off. And on the way back home a big group (OK not really big, only about 10 bikes) rode past us. It's so painful to hear those pipes and see the bikes and not be on the back of one.
So, then I went on a walk when I got home. Unfortunately all my shoes/sandals give me blisters. So, I took my sandals off about a half-block from my house (bad idea), got about 6 blocks from home and could barely walk. Of course I had to work Extreme Fighting that night. Which, I don't get why people want to watch that, just people beating the crap out of each other, I don't get it. Course I wasn't inside, so maybe that's part of it, I'm thinking not from what I heard from ushers. So, standing on my blistered feet for 6 hours made them not hurt anymore, I'm still trying to figure that out. It was a very poor turn out, we had about 1100 people in the house, with 90 presold tickets. There were so few people, that almost all the ushers were dismissed early, and there was only 1 person at each door. They cleared out the balcony and told people they could sit on the floor if they wanted too. Got home about 12:30 from that and went to bed.
Sunday, I got to mow the lawn. Then me and pig sat out and enjoyed the sun. But, I decided it was too hot for her (it was in the 80's and I can just imagine how hot that's gotta be in a fur coat), so we went back in, not long after we came out. Because it was so warm (it was 86 in my apartment), I spent the rest of the afternoon, sitting on the floor watching TV. It was just too damn hot to do anything. Today promises to be in the upper 80s again.
Figured out that I have known my favorite hott cop for 10 years today. Decided not to email him about it, cause it might be a little stalkerish. Like I need that. Wow, I feel old.

Save me from this nothing I've become

I'm so in the dumps lately. I think it has something to do with me not taking my walks since Thurs. I know walking's good for you, but it also lifts my spirits, I know it has something to do with endorphins which make you happy. I don't know, look it up.
Anyways, I didn't take my walk on Thurs or Fri because the electrician was supposed to come at 2, and then I just waited until about 5, hoping he'd still show up. I didn't go out for one yesterday because it rained practically all day. Today, I'm thinking about wandering over to Karli's cause I wanna drop off her b-day present (her b-day was March 7th, I haven't seen her since March 2nd, and she said she didn't want it early).

So, last night I had a great dream, featuring Dream Guy (no nothing sexual, you people have dirty minds). We chatted, something I wish I could do with him all the time. I wish he were a friend, sigh. So, a For Rent sign popped up in front of his duplex this past week, but I think it's for the people on the 2nd floor (or at least that's what I'm telling myself, so I don't freak out). Course I won't really know until Aug 1st (when the leases flip over here).

No post for cops last night. It was an hour of repeats and I went to the student-run fashion show, and I didn't feel like taping an hour of reruns. Also, I've decided to cut back on my statuette awarding. I'm only giving them to people on new eps (sorry Officer Pilutik). I'll still comment on the old eps if I'm watching, but I won't be awarding the statuettes to officers on the old eps.

its the good life

Alright, I’m a little slow, I’m finally getting around to watching last week’s cops.
Boston, MA—Officer Richard Withington
I love these accents, almost as much as I love Jersey accents. I love the fact that they have “cahs” Wow, three cars of backup in a matter of minutes, and the cute ones rarely come with names L
Las Vegas, NV—Officer Garth Findley
Wow, this chick is flying off her rocker, just cause you’re pissed, it’s not a good idea to get all pissed and yell at the cops when they’re talking to you. And then she blames her warrants on her boyfriend, she’s got a few warrants and she says she knows nothing about it and somehow its his fault
Boise, ID—
Oooh, they have the nice lights on their cars. OK, maybe the other people did too and I just didn’t notice, I’m bummed cause my guys switched to the high powered light bars, and I like the individual lights instead.
Now why would you hide underneath the front of the truck and think they won’t see you? Especially since they’re supposedly looking for a dog.
“Officer Mathis, you’re lying” Yeah cause the cop has a good reason to lie. I have to agree, Goddess, he does have a great attitude.
Brevard County, FL—Deputy Greg Richter, Deputy Justin Gould
I feel sorry for the cops everytime. It sucks that they have to go swimming in this pond just to get the idiot out. “I ain’t done nothing wrong” The cops don’t usually come over and chat with you for no reason. You know how many times I’ve tried to get a cop to talk with me for no reason? Ya have to do something to attract their attention
Palm Beach County, FL—Deputy Mark Lanier,
Palm Springs, CA—Officer Anthony Pilutik
And this week's:
Las Vegas, NV—Sgt. John Faulis, Officer John-Andrew Cook
“When you see 15 cops come up, I run”
But they forgot to name Officer Jeff. I don’t remember his last name but he was in a cops episode where there was an accident and the daughter was hiding pills in her sock, then she dumped them on the street. And the mom was all upset, saying how she was gonna hurt her kid when the cops were done with her.
Boise, ID—Officer Dan Barber, Officer Casey Hancuff,
Las Vegas, NV—
Who offers someone they met in a bar a place to live. Especially since that person in the bar is living in a shelter, shouldn’t you be spending your money on something else than beer if you live in a shelter? I love it, “As long as we both get arrested, I’m fine with that” And then the lady (the guy’s arrested for domestic battery), “Can I bail him out?” Unfortunately, that’s a classic story. Sadly, but true.
OMG, that witness is scary looking. All that shit stuck through his face, and shitloads of tats. Now I like ink, don’t get me wrong there, but I like ink that flows together, none of this shit on your neck, on your head, and just random stuff stuck together on your arms.
Riverside County, CA—
Deputy Hibbler’s talking about the drug arrests he’s done, and he mentions the excuse I love “Oh, these pants aren’t mine” It’s even more funny when people think the cops are gonna believe that excuse.
I’m paranoid too, but I don’t run when I see the cops. I kinda glare at them, hoping they’ll stop and chat with me, unfortunately it doesn’t work, maybe I should try the running thing…
I find it funny I had the same reaction the cop did when they found the gun. Deputy Hibbler was looking for dope that the guy dropped and he finds a gun instead, my reaction: even better. The other deputy’s reaction: sweet
Palm Beach County, FL—Deputy Harry Thomas
Riverside County, CA—
FOX said the 2nd ep was a rerun, but I don’t remember watching this episode.
I love how the K9 handler explains what the dog did.

Last week's award:
Officer Garth Findley
Las Vegas, NV PD
This week's statuette:
Sgt. John Faulis
Las Vegas, NV PD

Sounds I love—sirens (unless theirs a shitload of them), the reving of the engine when cops accelerate to go to calls, the click of the handcuffs when they’re put on, and radio chatter.
It’s coming. There’s a show coming on FOX called Drive, about a car race. I can’t wait to see the first ep to see if its any good
Ooooh, I saw a commercial for some movie called Grindhouse, I’m not quite sure what it’s about, but the cars are GORGEOUS
So, this weekend was the first weekend of the year, and I heard 5 fire calls within 3 hours last night. You’d think people could just behave, oops no that would be expecting too much of them. I know cops like getting action, but I almost feel sorry for them with the first few nights of warm weather when people go a little nuts.

Last night I went to a public radio funddrive where I answered phones for about 3 hours. I've been doing this for as long as I can remember, it usually promises a night of good food, company and fun. Unfortunately this time, not so much of that happened. The food wasn't that great. The company turned out to be someone I've been trying to avoid for awhile.
I went to HS with this girl, and I didn't like her then and well, I still don't like her. She has a tendency to be loud among other things, but stick that in a tiny room with 8 people at least one of them always on a phone, it doesn't work. And she had on shorts last night, which is fine, if you shave, but her legs looked like hairy guy legs it was gross.

Sorry guys

So, you all know that Goddess and I chat frequently, what you may not know is that I met her through the cops.com chat forum. I've heard lately that it may be permanently shut down, and I feel sorry for the people who have managed to stay on it. It used to be a great chat site. Used to be, there was this chick on there (I actually posted this on my MSN site) that welcomed me when I first started using it 2 yrs in May, and we got to be ok chat buddies online. Well I said something to someone else through an AIM conversation, which he apparently told her about, I guess people don't know what not to share with other people, and obviously can't figure out humor online. And we had a falling out. And I have a tendency to run my mouth a little, but I am not ashamed of anything I posted on that chat site, well this chick (who is in cahoots with the moderator) complained about me a few times and got me booted.
Like I said above, I've heard this chat forum may be shutting down permanently, and that's sad, but if it does, I wouldn't be surprised if this chick has a hand in it. So, to all of you who still chat on this forum, I'm sorry. But, I'm glad I'm not around now for the drama I've heard is going on on there. It used to be a great place to ask cops questions and get good answers. So, if you don't know any cops personally and you have a question you could get a nice answer. But then they started threads that were just chat threads, which weren't bad, but then these threads, someone would say something and get someone else all riled up, and then a full out argument would get going and the moderator would delete the whole thread.
That's kinda how I got booted, funny thing is, no one else had a problem with it other than this chick. Other funny thing, a couple people I chatted with believed this chick didn't have anything to do with me getting booted, because she didn't tell them. She was one of those people that would tell the whole board if she got a cop-basher kicked off. So, I guess she wasn't so proud of getting me kicked off, one of those people that unconditionally supports the cops, because I pissed her off. Hell I wouldn't have said anything about it either.

the attacked defenseless young couples

Not that I need to watch COPS for the action tonight, seeing as how I got a little bit of it last night at the concert…Unfortunately, that didn’t come with any hotties (unless you count the 10 cowboys that almost started a little something more….)
Cincinnati, OH: Officer Donny Meece,
Here’s a question for all you cops out there: can you just look at a gun and know what kind it is?
Brevard, CO:FL: Deputy Jason West,
Now why do all the druggies always say there’s nothing in the vehicle and then OK the cop looking in the car? You don’t have to let them search.
Extra kudos for the boyfriend for just sitting there while the cops are doing all this shit. We all know most of the time, the other person runs off and makes it worse.
I seriously doubt he would pass the drug test too, Deputy, just based on the fact that he keeps looking away every time he answers the question.
Did y’all ever notice that most of the people they come in contact with that are smoking cigarettes, they generally have some drug in the car, I’ve noticed it’s mostly weed, but is it just me who’s noticed this?
So, I saw a commercial for the new movie, Shooter, today. I wanna see that, if only for the fact that Mark Wahlberg stars in it. I have to say I’m glad “Marky Mark” switched to movies from music.
Palm Springs, CA: Officer Anthony Pilutik,
Goddess told me Officer P was on today and I was excited, I miss seeing the hottie cops. And I like you better in a car than on bike patrol, personal preference.
Now why was the weed considered a little bit when it was a bigger bunch than the “ a lot of meth”?
I love it, dude is bouncing and sweating profusely, but still insists he’s not on drugs. Yeah, good luck anyone believing that.
There’s that famous line: “I hope this is a wake-up call for you” I knew we wouldn’t be disappointed. And yes, we all know that’s the segment that the opening sequence part was taken from
Brevard CO, FL:
Ya know I never had that problem I don’t know a lot about drugs, but I can guarantee there is none in my clothes, my apt, or in any of my possessions. I’d even let y’all search, course the innocent people never let the cops search, it’s always the guilty ones
OH, by the way, I must be doomed with this whole movie about all the bad shit about the number 23. cause I am 23, so I am screwed.
Hillsborough Co, FL: Deputy James Ennis, Deputy Gerald Stewart
Officer Anthony Pilutik
(add it to your shelf)

Saturday, February 17, 2007

Baby can you hear

So, I’m sitting here with my Vault and donuts watching cops, it would be more fitting if I was drinking coffee, but I don’t drink coffee
I like Cutie Cook in the opening sequence.
Las Vegas, NV: Officer Evan Rosenthal
Where’s this guy think he’s gonna go, up the pole and then jump off into the road? “What is wrong with you?” I was wondering the same thing Officer Rosenthal. This guy does not stay still, he’s like a little baboon especially when he’s doing that thing where he’s trying to break the cuffs. I love it how he uses the technical term of ‘little people’. Famous parting words: “Don’t get in trouble”
Boise, ID: Officer Brian Lee,
UGH, the guy keeps complaining that its her fault, maybe if he stayed away from the damn house once he bonded out of jail…IDIOT
All the guys that were in the mob in front of the jackass were hotties. It was a mob of hotties, and they didn’t tell us a single name, sigh.
Chattanooga, TN: Officer Derrick Pendergrass
Alright, y’all tell me if this is wrong: I can now recognize Officer Derrick by his voice. OOO, I’m gonna have to find me a shirt like this guy’s, I’ve always wanted to wear the British Flag, it goes along great with his “Volvo”. “Did I just see things?” Come on, Officer Derrick, we all just ‘see things’ all the damn time, don’t tell me it’s just me. So, is it obstruction for eating the drugs?
OK, Officer Derrick, you gotta tell us you’re ok. Your face looks extremely thin on this segment.
I liked seeing Officer Pilutik in the opening sequence of the 2nd episode again.
Brevard County, FL: Deputy Craig Carson
Someone’s got great friends. I’m hoping if I was ever stupid enough to steal a car, my friends wouldn’t tell the cops that I just did it. What’s that line, good friends tell the cops that you just stole a car and real friends are in the passenger seat saying “What a rush!”? Now am I the only one that yells “Trip! Trip!” at the TV when they see the suspect running?
Thank you cops cameraman, we all know there’s a helicopter up there, you don’t need to look up and show us.
And it’s another mob of hotties. Y’all really need to give us names for them. Oh, I love it “There’s just no losers here” How about the idiot that you arrested, I’m pretty sure going to jail isn’t what a winner gets to do
Spokane, WA: Officer Joe Denton, Officer Blaine Kaduka
OK, all you cops out there, what does one stripe mean?
Palm Springs, CA: Officer Cary Carrillo, Officer Raymond Miller
“are you on parole?” “Probation sir” “For the same thing?” “For the same thing” so, he learns quick? And the moral of the story is: never get in a car that you don’t know where it came from.
“said he knew it was stolen, but he used it anyway” Once again, smart guy.
“…and I love it when they don’t get away.” I’d have to say you’re not the only one Officer C.
And this week's statuette goes to: Officer Joe Denton

Tonight I wanna cry

Well I'm bummed about cops this week, not quite enough hotties. Not by far.
And, it was Florida week, what's up with that? I wanted to see Officer Pilutik this week :( I know he's got more segments on, cause we haven't seen either of the segments which the opening clips are from (the one where he's sticking someone in a cell, or the traffic stop one). I wonder when those are gonna be on.
Palm Beach County, FL: Deputy Dan Frend, Deputy Anthony Johnson,
Palm beach county, FL: Deputy James Evans, Deputy Jason Johnson,
Brevard county, FL: Deputy Chris Little,
Idiot who’s riding with his buddies in a stolen car; “dude i never run from the police in my whole life, never had too” but he ran from the officer earlier.
West Palm Beach, FL: Officer Roy Bevell, Sgt Tony Spatara,
And this week's statuette goes to:

Corporal Paul Heckler from Palm Beach County, Florida cause he looks mighty damn fine without those glasses.

She's so high, high above me

So, I got to talk to Dream Guy today. We were both working the basketball game (I was more than excited to work, since I haven’t worked in a week, course after tomorrow I won’t have work for another week). But I noticed he was working, and I got the nerve up to chat with him a little bit (I would have loved to follow him around and keep chatting with him, but I know people get a little weird, and I really don’t need to have the cops weirded out about me. Yeah, that would help my life.
Anyways, if you haven’t heard yet, Dierks Bentley (with Miranda Lambert) is coming to my town, I’m very excited. And we got the good fortune of having him come on a Friday (we usually have concerts in the middle of the week it’s like they don’t wanna pick a good day). And also within this month we’re getting the Cirque Du Soleil. I also can’t wait to work that. I was telling my coworkers I hope to work all 3 of them because I love working long doors (which means I’m on the outside of the inside so I don’t get to watch it), and most people with the big concerts/events like to work short doors (they only work about 2 hours) and then go in and watch, or usher (they’re inside helping people find their seats). So, I’m holding my breath and crossing my fingers to work all three of them.

All right, y’all let me know if I’m wrong or not, but wasn’t Officer Anthony Pilutik in the opening sequence for the first ep? When they’re showing another officer doing a ‘follow the pen with your eyes’ test (yeah, I bet that’s the technical name for it) and there’s an officer that you’re kinda staring at head on?
Fontana, CA: 2 hotties dragging the fat ass dripping black dude.
Officer Jay Sayegh: “The subject’s obviously not willing to stop” Well duh, “Once they hear that dog barking they know there’s no hope for them.” Oh, Officer Jay is full of interesting quotes. And some nice red ink peaking out from under the sleeve of his uniform.
Wichita, KS: Officer Rob Thatcher, Officer Dustin Nail, Officer Ben Jonker,
Now, am I the only one who thinks #1 should be it shouldn’t be happening at all? And I don’t like the non-uniform uniforms. Not nice looking. Also, everyone knows that crown victorias are cop cars, it doesn't work to use them as unmarked. Everytime I see a Crown Vic (or Ford Taurus, as that's what my dept uses), I look for extra antenna, cause we all know if there's more than 2, it's an unmarked cop car.
Covington, KY: Officer Gary Smallwood (dubbed Officer YUMMY!)
Ugh! I hate the mother talking in the background “She’s never been in trouble in her life” ya know what? You’re not helping, shut up and back up, and let your daughter tell her story. Did y’all see the look in Officer Rudolph’s eyes after the guy starts crying and whinning about how his ex-girlfriend came by and sprayed him in the eyes?
I almost enjoy the opening sequence of the reruns 2nd hour as much as I enjoy watching the hotties in the show.
Dude, we all knew you were awake the moment you stopped snoring. You can’t say you sleep that deeply when you got a cop yelling that loudly at you. “I was sleeping, so you can’t come into my house”
Chattanooga, TN: Officer Derrick Pendergrass, Officer Pete Miller
OK, so I recognize Officer Derrick’s voice before I even saw him this time.
Palm Springs, CA: Officer Anthony Pilutik, Officer Arnold Galvan
I could give Officer Pilutik an award, just for his humorous commentary. "It just magically appeared ok?" He's always got such a laid back attitude with the idiots he deals with.
I wish someday, some money would magically appear in my apartment, but I highly doubt that's ever gonna happen.
Alright, because I don’t want to fill up Officer Pilutik’s shelf too quickly, he doesn’t get a statuette tonight. (Don’t worry, I can guarantee you’ll get another one in the future, at least one). So, tonight’s statuettes (we’re going with 2 tonight, it was a hard decision, lots of drool worthy guys) go to:
Officer Gary Smallwood (Officer Yummy) from Covington, KY
And the second one goes to our cutie in TN, Officer Derrick Pendergrass of Chattanooga. And I know he’s adding this to his shelf too.

And I think I’m on something tonight, waay too much shit is funny. So, I’m enjoying the tax commercials lately. Like the one for Turbo Tax (?) where the couple is getting audited and the chick says “well let’s ask the people who did our taxes, oh wait we used a box, so let’s ask the box.” So, she holds the box up to her ear “ uh huh, yep”. “What’s it saying?” “Nothing, it’s a box”
I also love the one for H&R block, where the couple is in the kitchen and the wife digs out some envelopes from the garbage and asks the husband “what is this” “Looks like garbage” “No, these are our bills.” "Looks like garbage" "No, these are our bills, how can you just toss out our bills?" “I got people, they took care of them.” “You got people?” “I got people?” “You GOT people.” “I GOT people” “So, this is garbage.” "Yep."
Oooo, am I the only one that wants to see Ghost Rider when it comes out? When I saw the previews in the theater I wanted to see it, and then I forgot about it, but I just saw a commercial for it after the cops opening sequence. Oooh, just seeing the skeleton of fire of that gorgeous bike, yeah that turned me on. Course by now, you should know that.

You don't wear my chains

WELL FUCK YOU BLOGGER!!!!!
I had a great post all written up but because blogger is a fuckhead, it lost the damn thing.
So, because of college basketball, COPS wasn't on tonight until 9:30 (and if you read above, you know why this is delayed even more). Sorry kids, but I did want to get it out this week.

Wichita, KS: Officer Matthew Hoyt, Officer Aaron Whiteman
Cincinnati, OH: Officer Donny Meece
If you're gonna deface a building, maybe you shouldn't just sit in front of it, waiting for the cops to show up. I love how the guy believes that by painting words on a wall, it's artistic expression, also how he thinks he shouldn't have to pay to get his shit up on billboards, but now he's gotta pay to get his ass out of jail.
I love how the 2nd ep has an all hottie startup
Palm Beach Counth, FL: Deputy Jarrod Foster
"We just shake our heads, keeps us amused, makes the job interesting." I love that quote from Deputy Steve Ultsh. Am I the only one who thinks the cars should hit the asshole that's running? And who keeps 5 knives on them? Especially that big ass one.
Palm Springs, CA: Officer Anthony Pilutik <-- I LOVE THIS HOTTIE! ;) Why do they always lie? We know they're lying, but they still do it. And the truth comes out sooner or later, usually if it comes out sooner from the perp they're talking too, it's usually less trouble. Chattanooga, TN: Officer Derrick Pendergrass. Also, because blogger an ass, I could'nt upload my statuettes. So, use your imagination (you should know what they look like by now). The first goes to Officer Matthew Hoyt from Wichita, KS. And the second one goes to Officer Anthony Pilutik, (so add it to your shelf Officer P, we all know you have a shelf, even if it's hidden somewhere, you have a shelf with your statuettes on it, and Goddess' awards)

And totally off topic, but I was watching commercials and one of those Tampax Pearls ads comes up (you know what I'm talking about, that one where the chick pops up in the corner and says you need an upgrade). This one was a 'cool' guy with a pimped up racing car upgraded to a guy on a white horse, not an upgrade in my mind. My upgrade was Dream Guy (I just saw him Thurs, and chatted with him, so he's fresh) in a Chevy Chevelle, late 60's model. Now if you read my Sweet Rides site, you know that's one of those drool worthy cars I love.

I hope that's what I had typed up. AARRGGHH!! Oh, and naturally because I was pissed I hit the wall beside me, I've iced my hand, but it's still gonna be bruised and hurting for awhile. There need to be less walls and doors around when I get pissed, nothing good ever comes out of it.

LA's got the freaks

See if anyone can explain this to me: cops make me nervous. Why?
I love to see cop cars around my city
I know 10 cops (give or take)
I know I have no record, there are no warrants out for my arrest.
But every time I talk to a cop, whether or not I know them I get nervous. Yes, I chat with cops I don't know. In 2003, my father and I went to New Orleans for his radio conference (I was his "guide" because he doesn't see very well), and one night we went to Mardi Gras world, had a nice little tour, with food and drink, and music (a private party for the public radio folk). Anyways, while we were waiting for busses to take us back to the hotel, I wandered over to a cop (or as this officer told me, a police officer, because they don't like to be called cops there), and had him read a poem I wrote titled "The Cop". I asked his opinion on it, he said the only thing I should change would be the title. (Maybe if enough people ask me, I'll post it someday. I also have one dedicated to soldiers and Marines, and firefighters).
So, why is it when I talk to cops, I get red in the face, and sweat?

So I hope that lady in her minivan

OK, so I'm a little slow with my cop watching (again), so this first batch is from December 30th.
Gwinnett County, GA: Officer Kevin Berardinelli, Corporal J.P. Surowiec
Las Vegas, NV: Officer George Godfrey
Chattanooga, TN: Officer Chris Sims, Sgt Barry Burns, Officer Zach Fuller
Officer Derrick Pendergrass (surprise there, nope)

And here's this weeks:
Wichita, KS: Officer Baldy with the mustache, Young officer holding second suspect,
Brevard County, : Deputy, Justin Gould
Hamilton County, OH: Second Deputy they kept doing close-ups on
So, at the end of the 3rd segment, when they cute deputy was talking to the guy in the back of the cop car, a couple of bikes went past, what I would have given for the cameraman to follow the bikes and ditch the cop. Sigh
And the hottie for this week is: FTO Brad Bellflower
