Vintage Airstream

June 25: Went to a Central Iowa Junk Jaunt with my aunts, that was an adventure in itself. It was fun to hang out with my aunts, but circumstances made it harder than I feel it should have been. One of the places was a vintage Airstream trailer. I loved looking at the inside.
Bathroom with shower and toilet.
Sink and medicine cabinet:
This was originally a bed that they turned into a display space:
Same thing with this side:
This is the kitchen with the refrigerator and oven:
And the other side of the kitchen with the sink and stove:
I didn't buy much:
A wire basket and a bottle.
I got home after 8 pm, it was an exhausting day. I found a birthday postcard when I got home and opened another piece of birthday mail. I found I wasn't able to move early and I was bummed.

June 26: I was originally going to go to an estate sale, but I was still bummed from my news the day before, so I just lounged at home and watched a bunch of movies.
I opened another birthday card.
This one had a very sweet message inside:
And I received a red, white and blue tag:
Not impressed, I put it in my box to get rid of.
June 27: I had plans with a friend to go to a handmade fair, it was fun, I was kinda hoping there would be more vendors,
Picked up some pennants:

The small ones at the top were in this fun game machine, where you put in your quarters and you get a prize.
A card and sticker:

Both totally for me. That card is what I'd love someone to give me right now, but I will save it for someone who needs it in the future.
Some cute earrings:
With the length my hair is right now, my dangly earrings kinda just get lost, so I need to wear some studs for awhile until my hair is long enough to put in a ponytail.
And some cute bags:

I couldn't decide between the two, there was a third I wanted that was black with cherries on it. They are covered with something, so you can just wipe them right off. I found my scissors, double stick tape, a pen and stickers fit perfectly in them, so I can just grab the bag instead of having it all floating around in my purse.

Minion socks

June 23: I put together a wish for happy mail:
A wish for something snowman and cute postcards:
I received 8 things in the mail.
A red, white and blue swap:
Nice stickers and tags.
More of the red, white and blue swap:
I like the gnome stamped image.
A blue tag:
I was not impressed with this one. My favorite thing is the Dory stickers. This was all sent in a 6x9 envelope, the pop tarts were crumbs because it wasn't sent in a bubble mailer.
A wish for happy mail:
This was to celebrate National Picnic Day. I like the plastic ants.
A wish for die cuts:
They're ok.
A wish for address labels for my new place:
A wish for happy mail:
This might've been the best piece of mail.
A wish for die cuts:
Not a fan of the motorcycle or car or airplane or guitar or toolbox or soccer ball or the hockey net.
And some vinyl stickers:
Work was a little slow, we were short a person, but otherwise it was ok.
June 24: Went to the post office and stopped at a couple places downtown. One place I wanted to buy something, but the clerk didn't greet me and ignored me the whole time I was in the store, so I didn't. I didn't need anything, I just wanted to support local businesses, it totally pays to greet your customers.
Went to a place I don't go to very often. Found a bunch of cute stuff. Like this giant gnome and cute ants:
I went to the basement when they keep their clearance room, I found a bunch of gnomes I really wanted to buy. This one is a Christmas one:
It was kinda big, I really wanted it, but I don't have the space.
This was a garland from Easter, I wanted to buy it and cut apart the gnomes:
The hat reminded me of Christmas with it's fuzzy brim, though.
Another Christmas one:
They were so cute, but I couldn't find one that looked professionally made. They all had globs of hot glue showing.
And these reminded me of a friend:
I haven't seen her in a few years, totally miss her. It was funny we were just talking about her at the post office.
What I did pick up:

Everything's from the bargain basement except the white hedgehogs. They were just too cute to pass up. I picked up one of the white hedgehogs for a friend.
Stopped at the grocery store, took my stuff home, put it away and headed back out to Hobby Lobby. I've been seeing people's posts about the extra marked down clearance and wanted some. Also, Christmas is usually out by July, so I wanted to see what they had. Christmas decor was just starting to come out, I saw some picks, not much else, the crafting selection was much more populated. Found these stickers that I'll have to come back and buy:
I wanted to take pictures of stuff to get when it was on sale.
I found quite a bit of jewelry clearance, but put a bunch back because I knew I wouldn't use it.
minion socks, birthday rosette, flower girl and a bunch of jewelry stuff.
I picked up the birthday rosette to wear next week. I saw the minion socks and couldn't pass them up, they were $5, which is a good deal for socks with a trademarked character on them. I love the flower girl, apparently she's a fairy missing her wings. I picked up a couple book themed charms, a cute seahorse, a bracelet that wasn't quite as big as I wanted. I love picking up the flower pieces when they are on sale. At regular price all that stuff was over $50, wow.
My walk back was hot, when I got home, I saw it was 86, but felt like 91. No wonder it seemed so bad.
I found 4 pieces of mail, a birthday card:
Which I wasn't expecting because they didn't write that it was birthday on the envelope, it's cute.
Some cute sticker sheets:
And green stuff.

A wish for address labels, and another birthday mail. I ended up opening the other birthday mail as well, because I could see it was just stamps, which was nice, but they couldn't even include a card?

Lots of minions

June 20: My friend asked if I wanted to go to the city pool party on 7/10, so I tried on my swimsuit on the 19th, it's been awhile since I wore it and it's definitely too small. Made an appointment with my eyeglasses guy on Monday after my dr's appointment, my friend said she could give me a ride, so I'll be looking for a swimsuit as well.
I had a crappy night on the 19th, so I opened a piece of birthday mail:
I picked the right one, the words on this card, totally helped. Some goodies:
I have enough pieces of birthday mail to open one a day and have ones leftover for my birthday, I won't I'll just open them if I'm having a bad day.
I put together a Send Me Something pretty:
I've been waiting for the perfect person to send this bookmark to, this person's last name starts with an F.
I got a swap ready to mail:
She likes Sticko stickers, project life cards, journals. I threw in some other stuff.
June 21: Picked up this cute tankini:
It looks really nice on. We got to Walmart about 9:35, and found the bikini. My appointment was at 9:45, the line with an actual cashier was kinda long, so I decided to try the self-checks and then scanned the top twice, and didn't notice it until later when I was at home. My eye dr is in the Walmart, waited until about 9:55 for someone to come out and help and then until 10:15 to actually see the dr. She didn't recheck my eyes, like the dr last year, I still find that strange. She didn't really have an answer as to why I was having issues, but tweaked the prescription so it was closer to my old one (again what they did last year), I wonder when I get my eyes checked in the future (which might be about 5 years because of all the issues I'm having), will it be as hard to get used to a new prescription then? I've never had issues getting used to a prescription, that's why it's bothering me so much. Got done about 10:45, just barely made it on time to my eyeglasses place at 11. Now I have to wait another week to get the glasses back, so won't be showing them off on Friday.
Went to Walmart afterwards. Actually we went to an Asian Food Store, but I didn't find anything fun to get, so we went to Walmart because it was right there.

Picked up some Minion decoration kit, some gummies, a key lime pie Kit Kat, some dried mango strips and a cute unicorn sticker.
We went to HyVee afterwards where I picked up some peanut M&M's for mom and a Twin Bing for dad and some lunch for me.
I saw these yummy looking layer cakes:

They are mango, I texted my brother saying I wanted something decadent and fancy like this for my birthday.
I received a secret sister swap:
So much stuff was in a flat rate medium Priority mail box, it was heavy when I picked it up. I'm excited about all the Minion stuff and the cute kawaii items. Not so much about the glitter, coloring book, diamond painting, gnome door.

Or the liquid facemask, stationary set, gnome or green post its.
I saw this sweet car on my way to work, not really sure what it is, I snapped a picture as it was driving by.
I also received a wish for happy mail:
And another wish for happy mail:
Work was ok, we were short a person due to vacation, lots of people seem to be taking vacation this week.
June 22: I put together a blue swap:
A wish for bookmarks:
A wish for a stationery set:
A wish for stickers:
I had to go back to Walmart to get a refund for the bikini top, I used my self-control and didn't even shop there. I did however stop at Dollar Tree, for being there a week ago, they had a bunch of new stuff. I can totally see why people go every week.
Picked up some cute pom pom paper clips, a loofah, cat sticky notes a couple unicorn phone holders, an orange cupcake snack, some 6x9 envelopes, a couple of packs of foam tape, some tissue paper and some sticky notes.
I've seen people haul these paper clips, I think they are so cute. I picked up the loofah for my trip. I picked up the unicorn phone holders for the unicorns, they totally looked cheap, I took the unicorns off when I got home. Picked up the envelopes because I'm not entirely sure where mine went, I'm sure they're in a box. The tissue paper is for a friend.
And stickers. They just had all these cute ones, I can't help it.
I received a Red, White and Blue swap in the mail:
Not really impressed with it. These used to be so fun, but the last few times I'm getting stuff I'll never use. Like the ribbon, the alpha stickers, the mini clothespins and the confetti.
Also received a purple tag:
Not impressed.
And a flower pocket letter:
This was the win of the day.
The back:
And the goodies:
I haven't packed for 2 days, just too busy taking care of other things. I'm done shopping for a while. I do have the junkin jaunt on Friday and a handmade fair on Sunday, but I'm done shopping until after my trip, even when my glasses come in next week (I hope), I'm not going shopping anywhere. I might buy my friend lunch for her giving me a ride all these times. I keep telling myself I should finish some books I have out, but then I keep thinking I should be packing. I read a bunch on Sunday, that felt really nice.
