Happy Monday

September 25: Found some fairy bookmarks when I got home from work. We were worried about these. They were mailed and postmarked on August 8th. I've noticed not only is mail taking longer, regular envelopes (as these were) are sometimes taking a really long time.
These are cute.
I also received a stickerpalooza swap:

We were supposed to send 10 new packages of stickers. I really don't like it when people send holiday stickers. The rest were good.
After opening my mail, I decided to go get some chocolate. I ended up stopping at Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's on the way there.
First up, Hobby Lobby:
A bunch of stickers, sticky notes, a tag and some buttons.
I had signed up for a sunflower tag thinking I had some stickers. After searching through all my stuff, I didn't find something, so I had to see if Hobby Lobby had anything.
sign, a couple Christmas ornaments, a couple teeny Tys, a squishie, a marquee light.
I couldn't pass up the sign it was only $2 (marked down from $8), I was surprised to see that the Christmas section didn't seem to be more stocked than last time, I picked up the dinosaur cause I wanted it last time and didn't pick it up. I thought the door would be fun for something. I also couldn't pass up the Ty's and the squishie and the light, the prices were just too good.
Next stop, JoAnn's:

I don't go there very often, they rarely have anything I want, but these guys were too cute (are you sensing a theme?)
Last stop, HyVee:
All the chocolate, and some gummies and a mermaid skeleton.
I also purchased supper, that was way more than I thought it was worth, that might not happen for awhile.
September 26th: I did nothing all day, it was wonderful.
September 27th: Got a bunch of stuff ready to be mailed.
Pen pack:
Sunflower:
Sticky notes:
Project life cards:
And then there was laundry and work, and we were sorta busy, it was kinda weird.
September 28th: I went shopping. First up, Dollar Tree:

flying pig, spiders, mini bottles, paper tape, LCR game, bows, gnome, Halloween stickers.
How do you pass up a flying pig for a $1? Thought I could cut off the ring part of the spiders for decorations. Thought the bottles would be fun to craft with. The tapes are hedgehogs, elephants and spring, way too cute. I picked up the LCR game because I was amazed to see it there. I picked up the bows in case I did a 24 Days of Christmas swap. I'm so hooked on gnomes right now. The stickers were too cute.
And the boring stuff:
I've been having issues with footwear lately, figured it couldn't hurt to try the insoles. Also thought I'd try the hot patch. I actually needed the Q-tips.
Next stop, Walmart:
I could use a lifetime supply of this tape. I seem to go through these sized bubble envelopes so fast and I totally needed razors, I've found the guys are much better than the girls.
Rainbocorns, Hatchimals, Thickers, Hershey's kisses, ornament, Pocky.
I need to stop buying blind bags, I love them, but they get so expensive. I love these thickers, they are sparkly, but they kinda look like sprinkles. The kisses are vampire blood, they have a strawberry creme in them. Love the Harry Potter ornament and of course, Pocky.
Last stop was Target:
More Rainbocorns and Hatchimals, toothbrush heads and a garland.
I needed the toothbrush heads, I decided to take the spiders off the garland, they're too cute.
Found my You Matter box when I got home:
I cancelled my subscription for this, I signed up for a 6 month subscription just to try it out. Most months I wasn't impressed. There were a couple good ones, but I don't think I'll miss this box. I still want to find the perfect box to have for all time.
I also found a pen pack:
I like this one.

Great mail day

I've gotten over my issue of ordering things on Etsy. I've been on there a bit lately. A few weeks ago, I picked up a junk journal art kit from Wonderland Art Studio. It arrived today and is fantastic.
She's located in England, which made me a bit apprehensive. Some times it takes awhile for things to get her from other countries.
What was in all those packages:
some art stickers she made.
some paper tape.
some tiny little cards
more cards and a couple post cards.
random bits of paper and epehemera.
some more art stickers.
paper flowers and beads.
flower stickers.
more flower stickers.
used postage.
playing cards.
some art tags she made.
napkins.
and some book pages.
I love stuff like this, I've looked up a couple subscription boxes that are basically junk journal supplies like this, and I want them, but I also tend to hoard this kind of stuff.
Next item in the mail was my purchase from PrincessKateCrafts. So much cuteness.
A tiny resin mermaid (totally should have bought more of these), a plastic candy shaker (didn't read the description, thought I got more than one), felt avocado, plush pineapple and a clay mermaid. I'm loving the mermaid the best, I might add a magnet to the back of it.
A wish for pocket letter sleeves:

and some other random stuff.
A wish for tea:
I have no idea what the flavors are, but they smell wonderful.
And a destash tag:

Lots of great things. I want to explore everything.

All the good mail

September 19: I got a few fun things in the mail. First up is an Etsy purchase from MelParadise, these little cuties:
I purchased 2 of them and she threw in an extra. They measure 1.5 inches tall. Way too cute.
Next was an Send Me Something Spiky and Send Me Something Fluffy:

The necklace and bracelet are the spiky, I like the necklace, though I might end up just pulling it apart for art. I'm not sure what I'll do with the bracelet, it's a simple twine with a shark tooth on it. The face mask was for fluffy, not really sure how it's fluffy, will definitely be passing that on.
September 20: I put together some tags. First up a Send Me Something soft:
I picked these up last year at Hobby Lobby at after Christmas sales, not entirely sure why I picked them up. Hopefully the person I sent them to will like them.
Next was a Send Me Something sweet. I got this as part of unicorn happy mail. I thought it was a cute thing to send for this tag.
A gimme gimme of happy mail:
Totally just raided my stash of stuff.
Another gimme gimme of happy mail:
Again, just a bunch of stuff I won't use.
A gimme gimme of unused stamps:
Someone sent these to me in a flipbook, I don't use them, so I thought pass them on.
A die cuts tag:
I tried sending a lot of my more delicate die cuts, I can never figure out how to glue them down.
September 21: I hate having Mondays off, it's like a long extended weekend and there's nothing to do, plus Tuesdays feel like a work day and a day off.
I received my secret sister package in the mail:

This time around I said I liked guinea pigs, international foods, chocolate, surprizamals, cosmic candy hatchimals, little lucky lunchbox, minion figures, anything kawaii, craft kits, octopuses, Sanrio, gnomes, unicorns, mermaids, stickers, washi.
They got mermaids and unicorns and craft kits. I can tell they just went to the Dollar Tree and picked stuff up. It's a fine package, I just want blind bags.
I also received an embellishments tag:
Mostly die cuts, but that's ok, I like die cuts.
September 22: I found two items in my mailbox. An autumn happy mail tag:
I feel one of these is actually autumn themed: the stickers. I really don't like when people sign up for autumn things and then put Halloween stuff instead, if I wanted Halloween, I'd ask for Halloween. The sticker book and washi aren't really autumn, but I like and will use them anyway.
A wish for happy mail:
an envelope, some washi samples, index cards, Halloween card, bookmark and some die cuts. I like the selection.
September 23: I received a grant a wish tag of Surprizamals:
I really want the single ones. You really can go wrong with asking for specifics. Some days I can never win.
So far it's been a really good mail week.

Halloween pocket letters

Sunday: I made a couple Halloween pocket letters:
I love the monster stickers I used.
This one was supposed to have at least 2 layers:

I also made a my choice card.
I found the sunflower when I was going through my fall stuff and I thought the papers went with it well.
Monday: I received some bling ATCs in the mail:
A penpal letter:
An altered canvas:
It's so cute. I wish i had a good place to display it.
I also noticed how many pens I have. I don't think I'll have to buy any for a few years.
I'm very tired of Blogger rearranging my pictures, but I'm too tired to put them back in the right order.
I received a back to school pocket letter with matching bookmark. Here's the bookmark and the goodies:
I'm not too pleased with the goodies, they were supposed to be back to school themed. I guess you could say one of the sequins mixes goes with the bookmark. There were a couple pieces in the punch pack and the sticker pack, but it seemed like they weren't put in there intentionally.
And the pocket letter.
I went shopping that day as well. I went to TJ Maxx:
Blume doll (5), ghost notepad (3) and a sticker book (6). I feel they don't really know what some things sell for. The Blume doll said compared to $7, I have never seen this less than $10 except at five below. I decided I'd use the ghost for all my tag inserts for everything now until Halloween. I got really excited about the sticker book, it's so cute, it also has metallic acetate stickers in it.
Next up was Walmart:
Four Cosmic Candy hatchimals (3 each), a minions mashem (3), pumpkin pie Kit Kats (3), Witch's Brew Kit Kats (3), leggings (5), and some monster stickers (1).
I love these hatchimals, I'm not a big fan of regular Hatchimals, but I'm really loving these. I should have picked up more than one Mash'em, there are 6 Minions and Gru and of course I got Gru. I couldn't resist the Kit Kats, the pumpkin pie ones are ok, the Witch's Brew are marshmallow flavored and light green in color, very good.
Tuesday: I received an SMS happy:

Sadly, I really don't like Skittles, so not happy for me, they ended up at work.
I sent off a Grant a wish tag:
Glitter Gel Pens were in their wish list, now I have one less pen pack.
I had taken vacation on Tuesday and Wednesday, because I've got too much again. I didn't do anything special (what can you really do right now), I did return a lot of books when I went back on Thursday.
Thursday: I received a free theme card in the mail:
I like this technique, plus you can use it for whatever you like.
Also received a Halloween pocket letter:
Very cool. What I don't understand is, this was sent on the 15th from California, it arrived on the 17th. I'm waiting on a package sent on the 15th from Michigan (which is out for delivery, today, 9/19), another one one sent on the 14th from Pennsylvania (seems to be misplaced, last update was left PA on the 14th) and another one sent on the 15th from Oregon (which is also out for delivery, today, 9/19). It doesn't make any sense.
Friday: I received a new fit bit band, I ordered purple, which to me is more magenta. I ordered a small size, which is actually small. The original one I had, I was told was small, but I was on the last hole because they are rubber and stretch. This one I'm starting on the 6th hole, so I have plenty of room for it to stretch. I also received a refund check from my medical insurance.
Saturday: I went to a couple garage sales and ended up walking 5 miles by 10AM. First stop:
A 2016 calendar, a quilted piece (1) and a sticker mix (3).
I really like that quilted piece, there were also some pillows with quilted pieces on them, but I don't have room for pillows. I don't know what I'm doing with this, but I can always stow it away somewhere until I have a place. I got a little too excited about the wooden tags in the sticker mix, not quite sure it was worth the $3.
This is the calendar, I picked it up for the pictures, but realized when I got home that the dates match up perfectly for 2021, so I'll just use it next year.
Next stop was a repeat sale of one I went to earlier in the year. This time they combined with another person and had clothes. I was just there for the scrapbooking stuff.
100 paper package (4), 40 sheet paper package (3), sticky notes (.50), owl stickers (.50), teapot stickers (.50).
I'm a bit disappointed in the 100 paper package, all but that top sheet were stripey paper. I do not need 99 striped pages. They are all different color combinations and striped designs. I feel everything I make from now until at least the end of the year will have striped paper backgrounds. Any pocket letters I make will also have striped paper as the back. The 40 sheet package was better, it had a lot of fun patterns and quite a few foiled pieces.
The sticky notes:
I'm ready for a nap, now.
