shopping

Monday was pretty productive, I got a few books read and some movies watched and a few things ready to mail out.
Destash:
 Happy Mail:
 Galaxy:
I picked up a paint by sticker book a few weeks ago at a garage sale, the theme is masterpieces. Here's what I've done so far:
The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo
Houses of Parliament, Sunlight Effect by Claude Monet
Bedroom in Arles by Vincent van Gogh
Still Life with Applies and a Pot of Primroses by Paul Cezanne
 Flaming June by Frederic Leighton
The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli
They're very fun to do, but you have to make sure the stickers are exactly in the places that are labeled for them, otherwise there's white gaps, as you can see on The Houses of Parliament, Sunlight Effect. I've also found that sometimes the stickers aren't cut very well so they don't always fit in the spaces. I bought it for relaxation, but putting the stickers in the exact right places is a bit stressful.
I had planned to go to bed at a decent time, but by the time I got my last picture done it was after 10:30, so that didn't happen.
Tuesday: I put a few more things together to mail out.
A wish for fuzzy socks:
 Orange crafting items swap:
And a giant sticker swap, we have to send 100 loose stickers:
 10 single sheets of stickers:
And 10 new packages of stickers:
I checked my mail early, which wasn't a great idea, I like to open my mail at work, it makes the workday more fun.
Igrab of stickers:
And again, I'm reminded why I don't do loose sticker tags, because they are mostly kids stuff.
A trim swap:
I was hoping for more since we didn't have mail yesterday. Oh, well
Found this at the library and had to buy it:
I grew up on this. I didn't really want to spend $20, but I really wanted it.
Wednesday: nothing exciting. Didn't get any mail, but finished another paint by sticker:
Breezing Up by Winslow Homer This one was the hardest by far, it had a ton of tiny stickers.
Thursday: I went shopping. I've been wanting to for awhile, but didn't want to spend my money at the bookstore, and I'm still on the hunt for Harry Potter stuff.
First up, Overflow Thrift Store:
Everything was 50 cents. stickers, cup for a friend, minion because why not, necklace and doily were part of plan B for my project, the whale was for a friend, but I'm thinking of keeping it. And I just liked the bug kit. Total spent: $4
Next stop was Target:
Found a bunch of the Grumblies blind bags on clearance for $1.18, originally $3.99. The squishie thing was $2.48, originally $4.99. The other thing is a bulletin board trim, $1. I love Grumblies, they are grumpy looking pencil topper things, I just don't want to spend $4 a piece of them. The squishie thing is weird and full of strange bubblies and sticky, not sure how I feel about it. I picked up the bulletin board trim to cut apart the cute animals. Total spent $14
Next up was Walmart:
 Stickers ($13), tape ($7), confetti ($1), stampers ($2)
The stickers said they were on sale for $10, but I didn't notice I was charged the regular price until I got home, and I didn't feel like dealing with it. I've been eyeing this sticker pack for awhile, it was just a matter of time before I bought it. I have to buy a pack of this tape every time I go to Walmart, unfortunately, the price rose a buck. I love the cute little ghosts in this pack. These are Harry Potter stampers they have the 4 houses on them. Total spent $24.
Last stop was Dollar Tree:
chips, stickers, lip balm, panty liners, calendar, wood pieces, glue.
I didn't read very well, I don't like corn chips, these will be going to work. I have these stickers, but I haven't used them cause I don't want to use them up, maybe now I will. The Trolls lip balm is for me, the other one for a swap. I wasn't going to buy things for my swap groups, but I needed something flavored and I'd have to buy something either way. I needed the panty liners. I figured this calendar was as good as any, since people never seem to have a variety of cute animals on their calendars, and I do like Trolls. Again, thought the ghosts were cute. I haven't seen this glue at the Dollar Tree and needed some more anyway.
 notebook, stickers
Remember a couple posts back, I said I could find better things for the scavenger hunt, this notebook was for one of those items. I always need notebooks and this one was rather cute. Loved the cacti with googly eyes. Again, loved the wooden stickers. I picked up the other two packs half because they weren't Dollar Tree and half because they were layered and technically I get two of each.
socks, tape, toy, tape, trinket dish, pencils, notepads, crackers, magnet.
I rarely find fun socks at the Dollar Tree, but these had narwhals on them. Also, found a ton of good tape today, I don't really like Dollar Tree washi, but these patterns were too good to pass up. Bought Wonder Woman for my desk at work. Also loved the trinket dish and the pencils and the notepads. I like these crackers and loved this fake succulent.
Sometimes I feel my Dollar Tree has nothing, today I feel they were in the middle of stocking (there was more coming, you could see all the boxes) and I got a bunch of good stuff.
Total spent: $27
This is what was in that package of notepads.
I got home, had lunch and got a text from a friend about going to Salvation Army. Barely had time to eat my lunch before we left.
Last stop: Salvation Army
 moose, minion, stickers, cupcake.
Not really sure how much everything was individually, but I spent $2.06. I picked up the moose for a friend that likes them. Couldn't pass up the minion of the frog cupcake box. Picked up the Hello Kitty stickers for my group.
My friend didn't have much time to hang out, but it was fun to get together with her and shop and catch up a bit.
Mail came late, but I had a galaxy tag in it:
The pencil pouch has Saturn with a shaker of confetti stars in it. I could play with it forever. Also, love those stickers on the left and the cuttlefish sticker
